Miss Annette Bromley - Our Principal

Miss Ann began her training with Shelagh Elliott Clarke in Liverpool.  She then continued to train at Hylton Bromley School under her sisters Hilda and Ruth.  

          Miss Ann danced professionally for 12 years in London’s West End and also overseas.  After this she returned to Wallasey and began her teaching career. 

          Miss Ann is a Fellow and examiner  with the IDTA , and a member of the Ballet Faculty which has created all the current ballet syllabi for the same association.  She also holds a Solo Seal Certificate of the Royal Academy of Dance.

          Miss Ann’s examining career has been both  in the UK and many countries such as Greece, Norway, USA and New Zealand.

Miss Amanda

Miss Amanda trained at Hylton Bromley School until she became a professional dancer at age 18. This career led to contracts both in the UK and various overseas countries. She also worked for several cruise companies including Carnival Cruise Lines and Princess Cruises, and saw many wonderful places in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Alaska, South America and the Far East.

Soon after returning home to settle down, Miss Amanda began her teaching career. She holds six teaching certificates in various genres with the IDTA and also an RSA in Exercise to Music. More recently, she gained a diploma in Nutrition and further qualifications in both Ballet Bums ( ladies ballet fitness classes) and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) which she will be bringing to our studios in the new term.
